Why Employee Wellbeing

We invite organisations to use 2019 Asia Employee Wellbeing Week from 7-11 October 2019 as a platform to raise awareness, educate and motivate action around employee wellbeing in your company – wherever you operate in Asia.

Research highlights a direct link between employee wellbeing, productivity and performance. Employers who invest in their employee’s wellbeing reap a range of profit-boosting benefits - from higher engagement levels on the one side, to reduced costs associated with absenteeism and attrition on the other.

Responsible businesses put employee wellbeing at the heart of their people strategy - because beyond the business case, ultimately our organisations are about people, and we have a duty of care to ensure our employees are happy, healthy and engaged.

With this in mind, we are delighted to promote 7 – 11 October 2019 as 2019 Asia Employee Wellbeing Week. We invite all companies who care about the wellbeing of their employees to get involved. And no need to wait until October – you can start developing and driving your strategy now!



What You Can Do

Here are some ideas of what your company can do to promote employee wellbeing and get directly involved in 2019 Asia Employee Wellbeing Week (2019 AEWW):

  1. Register to become a Participating Employer of 2019 AEWW 
    As soon as you sign up we’ll feature your corporate logo on the Community Business website – raising the profile of your commitment to employee wellbeing and positioning you as an employer of choice.
  2. Subscribe to this Virtual Platform 
    For just US $250 you can gain unlimited access – for all your employees, in all markets across Asia until 31 December 2019.
  3. Participate in external Employee Wellbeing Events
    Browse the Regional Event Calendar on this Virtual Platform and discover the range of events that are taking place across the region. Plan ahead and encourage your employees to attend these in-person events during 7-11 October 2019.
  4. Organise your own employee wellbeing event in Asia

  5. Share an interesting video or TEDTalk related to Employee Wellbeing
